Here you will see the history of the famous Dutch genever brand and also experience a spectacular adventure in taste, smell, image and sound. Description: The new Heineken Experience was reopened in November 2008, and has been designed to bring the values of the Heineken brand to life in an entertaining and contemporary way. Amongst many new elements, guests will experience an interactive journey through the brewing process and will have the opportunity to create and take home their own personalized bottle of Heineken. The working stables and iconic Heineken shire horses will also be accessible via a newly constructed “stable walk”. Once the tour is over, guests will still be able to relax with a refreshing glass of Heineken.

Description: The West Indisch House was built in the year 1617 and was originally meat market. In 1623 the building become the headquarter of the WIC (West India Company) from where the WIC’s governors in 1625 ordered the construction of a fort on the island of Manhattan laying the foundations for New Amsterdam(nowadays New York). In the courtyard is the statue of Peter Stuyvesant former Director-General of the WIC who was appointed governor-general of the fortress New Amsterdam, which through the ages developed to become the metropolis New York.

Description: This more than 200 years old chalk mill is the last of this kind in The Netherlands. After a renovation in 1966 the mill is still able to operate the process of grinding the turf. During receptions the miller will give your guest a tour through the mill. A meeting or party in this 200 year old mill will make your event a special Dutch experience.

Geelvinck Hinlopen Huis
Location: In the middle of the canal district, at the Herengracht.

Description: On the Golden Bend of Amsterdam’s Herengracht you’ll find this beautiful canal side mansion. The house was built in 1687 after the marriage of Geelvinck and Hinlopen who both came out of wealthy families. Because of this reason the building was beautifully furnished and decorated. In 1995 the Geelvinck Hinlopen Foundation restored the rooms into the original state of the 17th century and also restored thegarden behind the house. This means that nowadays this location is the ideal spot for a classier event.
